I liked the rooms, cleanliness and the mountainous view location.
There is noting that I have not liked in this hostel.
The location near the city center and the friendly environment.
The bathroom in the room is a kind of a contairer and was built recently.Maybe due to recent works, there was a very strong smell in the room and bathroom which was annoying. The breakfast is a bit poor.
The room and the shared washroom are clean. Location of hotel is good. It is easy to venture to mt jungfrau using the bus and then trains up the top of europe from the hotel. You can take a walk from hotel to city. It is about 20 mins. The hotel staff are friendly.
Room was large
Bed was very uncomfortable. Location is a decent walk from cental Interlaken, but this is reflected in the rate
The environment and ransportation is good.
The elevator works not well
Delicious Rosti at the hotel restaurant and friendly staff.
Extremely noisy room, uncomphortable bed,
The Hotel staff is very nice. The rooms face to the street have a amazing view of the mountains and the town, although a littel noisy at night.
Due to old bilding it' s not good by sound insulation
Staff arranged take out breakfast for me, that was nice.
The room I've been given has not been cleaned! Staff changed another room for me but with no sheet on the bed. I had to call them again, they brought the sheet, but I had to do it myself!
When we needed to change our reservation at the last minute Dora on reception did this with no extra charge. A sink in the bedroom was good and also it was a big room with a balcony but I didn't like much else about Basic Rooms Hotel.
The bed was so bad it was impossible to sleep, it had springs sticking up all over the thin mattress. The floor in the room actually sloped quite a bit and the old thin carpet was loose so it went from under me when I stood on it and because of the slope nearly sent me flying, I felt it was dangerous. Also the entire floor squeaked and this is a very noisy hotel as the walls are very thin and every floor squeaks. I don't recommend these rooms unless they are made more OH&S friendy. It's much too expensive for this area too. There are nicer rooms, cheaper, just up the street. Location is out of town so not as central as Booked.net website let me believe.
Really good staff helps a lot, patient and think for your trip detailly. Health breakfast. Clean room.
A little noisy by the car on the street at night, i mean the window is not enough soundproof .A little far from the train station, but if you come at day time there is the bus,No.104 or No.105. if you have time, walking in the town was also nice, the view of the mountains are fantastic.
the stuff of the hotel is very nice.
its difficult to find the hotel by foot.there are less choise for breakfast .
the hotel gave me free upgrade to bigger room, which was excellent. i was traveling with small kids so bigger room is always comfortable.
The owners and and could not be more welcoming and helpful. They had a good knowledge of everything happening in their area. All spoke good english and were keen to make my stay as enjoyable as possible. I shall certainly be staying again when I return to Interlaken.
They could probably do with more ensuite bathrooms.
The beds were very nice to sleep in.
A major mistake by telling me that the hotel would not accommodate children. I made changes in our plans only to be told the last day it was a mistake ...........
